Dashboard:The panel facing the driver of a vehicle or the pilot of an aircraft, containing instruments and controls.”

Every car on the market has some kind of a dashboard which is designed to tell people some valuable information starting from speed, temperature of the car, and some come with even more like if the tires are low, require an oil change soon or change the radio station. This feature is one the most important features that was added on cars by manufacturers because it tells you the current status of your car and the speed you're moving at and the most important how much gas you have left.

How it works: The speedometer is usually worked by a driven cable that spins inside a flexible tube and the cable is connected on one side to the speedometer while the other side is connected to the gear inside the transmission. Today the speedometer eliminates the cable and uses an electronic sensor to measure wheel speed and send a signal to the dashboard and many other sensors that display other things like tire pressure and more.

Most Common displays on a dashboard:

- Fuel gauge:In automobile and aircraft engineering a fuel gauge or gas gauge is an instrument used to indicate the amount of fuel in a fuel tank.”

- Temperature gauge: Displays the current temperature of the vehicle and will rise if the vehicle doesn’t have enough water or something is not functioning properly.

- Speed Gauge: Tells you how fast your vehicle is going, which helps you avoid tickets.
